Care Instructions for Matte / Satin
Cleaning:
Hand wash! Do not use automatic washes, self service washes are OK. However, do not use the brush.
Wash your matte wrap using a two-bucket wash system with matte car wash soap and plush wash mitts.
It is okay to use a pressure washer, just don’t get too close and avoid seems, it may tear the wrap!
Dry with clean microfiber towels to avoid contaminant tracking.
Avoid wiping without a cleaner or lubricant; use a matte quick detail spray for soft contaminants.
Products to Use:
Use products specifically designed for matte surfaces, avoiding waxes, polishes, or glossy car wash soaps.

Damage Repair:
Matte wraps can be damaged easily but protect the paint underneath.
Some wraps, like 3M, Avery, and KPMF are "self-healing" and can reverse minor damage with heat.
A heat gun can fix indentations and surface scratches, but it is very easy to ruin the material! We recommend leaving it out in the sun on a warm day, it will do just as good!
Avoid:
Gasoline can stain and damage wrap, do your best to avoid drips.
Infrequent washes will allow contaminants to stain your wrap over time. Wash it!
Automatic car washes will easily scratch and damage your wrap.
Soap brushes at self service car washes are abrasive and will leave marks.
Waxing, polishing and buffing is a mistake people make. It can often do more harm than good.
Water over 140° will cause the vinyl to lift and bubble.
